Our helicopter flight starts from Victoria & Alfred Waterfront airport. Upon your arrival during the early hours of the morning, our ground crew will give you a warm and friendly welcome. Your body weight will be determined in order to establish the total take-off weight and you will receive our safety regulations for the flight. Our friendly flight attendants will hand out lifejackets and the pilot will welcome you on board.

Now the adventure trip begins and you will be shown to your seats in the helicopter. The rotor blades start rotating and with a jerk we will be taking off, almost immediately revealing Cape Town’s most famous landmark – Table mountain - in all its glory. A quick turn and we will be overlooking the coast line with Camps Bay und Llandudno. On our left we will be accompanied by table mountain’s glorious 12 Apostles until our arrival at the coastal town of Hout Bay. We will be swinging to the left approaching Muizenberg, also known as surfer’s paradise. Flying along False Bay, we will set course for our destination, approaching the Overberg region - Hermanus – South Africa’s most famous whale watching spot. If you plan on booking your trip for the spring months, you will be able to spot whales in and around the area of Hermanus. On we go with our flight to Gansbaai – breeding ground of the Great White Shark. We will land in close proximity to the waterfront, where you will be able to book your shark cage diving boat. Please note that fees for the shark cage diving tour by boat are not included in our rates.

Our boat tour involves a 12 km stretch, eventually reaching two small islands. Between these two islands runs a small and shallow channel leading to Dyer Island.  Only here lies your greatest chance of marvelling at the Great White. The probability of spotting and observing a Great White is between 60 and 70% during the summer months – during the Cape’s winter months the probability is even higher at 80 – 99%.
